GR Recipe Reveal
Privacy Policy
GR Recipe Reveal processes photos on your iPhone or iPad. It stores app preferences and scan results locally and does not operate an account, advertising, analytics, or photo-processing service.
Data collection
GR Recipe Reveal does not send personal information, usage analytics, advertising identifiers, location data, or photo metadata to the developer.
Photos access
You can select one photo through the iOS photo picker or grant Photos access to scan your full library or a chosen collection. The app reads image data, EXIF, and MakerNotes to identify camera recipes. It does not edit or delete photos.
Local app data
GR Recipe Reveal stores scan progress, discovered recipe groups, custom recipe names, and app preferences on your device. You can clear saved scan data from app settings without changing your Photos library.
Network and iCloud Photos
Recipe decoding does not use a GR Recipe Reveal server. If an original photo is stored in iCloud rather than on-device, Apple Photos may download that original through your Apple account so the app can read it.
Background processing
iOS background processing may continue or resume a photo library scan. Scan state remains on-device. Network access is not required unless Apple Photos needs to retrieve an iCloud original.
Apple frameworks
The app uses Apple Photos, PhotosUI, ImageIO, UIKit, and SwiftUI. It includes no third-party advertising or analytics SDK.
Policy changes
If app behavior changes in a way that affects privacy, this policy will be updated before the changed version becomes available.
Contact
Support contact details will be available on the App Store listing.
