Questions
Before you scan your library.
Why must the photo be original?
Exports and social apps often remove MakerNotes. GR Recipe Reveal needs the metadata embedded by the camera.
Can it scan my whole Photos library?
Yes. Grant Photos access, then scan your full library or choose a collection. You can pause and resume large scans.
Does scanning change my photos?
No. GR Recipe Reveal reads photo data and saves scan results inside the app. Your Photos library remains untouched.
Does it upload my photos?
No. The app has no photo-processing server. Apple Photos may download an original from iCloud when it is not stored on-device.
